Beautiful wooden Altar table made from Mango wood, painted black with Pentacle design carved on top, handcrafted in India. Rustic hand-painted with a combination of mat black and semi-gloss paint.

The Pentacle is symbolic of the earthly elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. Each of the 5 points of the Pentagram has their own meaning. The upward point represents the spirit. The remaining 4 points represent an element, earth, air, fire and water. The encasing circle is representative of the circle of life; it has no end and no beginning. Pentacles are symbols of balance and protection.
Mango wood is derived from the mango tree. This is the same tree that produces the sweet fleshy fruit known as 'a mango', characterised by skin that turns from green to yellow/red and an inside comprised of a large stone surrounded by juicy yellow flesh. Its 'Latin' name is mangifera indica.
Colours may vary slightly as these are all individually handcrafted.
